DMCA & Content Removal

FansMatcher respects intellectual property rights. This page explains how to report content and request removal.

Overview

FansMatcher is a content-creator discovery directory. The creator profiles, preview images and statistics we display are supplied to us through authorised commercial affiliate networks that creators or their representatives have voluntarily opted into. These feeds typically combine material the creators or their agencies provide directly to the network with information drawn from the creators’ own publicly available profile pages. We do not host creators’ subscription content, and we do not scrape or copy material directly from creator pages ourselves. If you believe material shown on FansMatcher infringes your rights, or you are a creator who wants your profile corrected or removed from our directory, please use the process below. If you also want your material withdrawn from the broader affiliate-distribution chain, you (or your representative) will additionally need to update your participation with the relevant affiliate network.

Reporting copyright infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or their authorised agent, and believe content on FansMatcher infringes your copyright, send a written notice to hello@fansmatcher.com that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. The exact URL(s) on FansMatcher of the material you want removed, with enough detail for us to locate it.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

Creator removal and correction requests

If you are a creator and want your profile removed from FansMatcher, or want information about you corrected, email hello@fansmatcher.com from an address associated with your account, or otherwise help us verify your identity. We honour reasonable removal requests from creators.

Counter-notification

If material relating to you was removed and you believe it was removed in error, you may send a counter-notification to the same address, with a comparable level of detail and a statement, under penalty of perjury, of your good-faith belief.

Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances we will remove material and take action regarding parties who are the subject of repeated, valid infringement notices.

Response time

We review every notice and aim to respond within a reasonable time, typically within a few business days. For general enquiries, see our Contact page.
